alcoholism sweats

what makes some people become full blown alcoholics?
I’m talking about people who shake and sweat if they don’t have their daily drinks. Why and how does this happen? can it happen to anyone at anytime? How can I avoid that. I like drinking, on the weekend, I’v been doing it for 20 years, but I just met a man tonight (in a hospital) who drank on weekends until his kids moved out of the house, and then he started drinking everynight, and then when he retired he drank every day AND night, and now he’s in the hospital suffering from alcoholism withdrawals.
I believe Alcoholism to be a very debilitating disease.Possibly hereditary.I think there’s something in the brain of an Alci that triggers euphoria( kind of like what cig.’s do) In my case; Like you I started drinking on the weekend’s. Over a period of about 35 years I started drinking everyday & finally before ending up in the hospitol & rehab., I was drinking the hard stuff every chance i got. My reasoning at that time was, Life’s problems were getting to tough(stress-kids-divorce-death in the family etc.) I have since become a non-practicing alcoholic for almost 2 years, & have had to learn all over again how to live life on life’s terms. It’s good to have concerns about becoming an alci.because I believe it could happen to anybody at anytime. Also keep in mind that non-alcoholic people don’t ever think about how much they drink.!! So please beware. Thnx. Your friendly neihborhood Tazman

Sweating is a cardinal heat regulation mechanism of our body that ensures that our body temperature never exceeds an optimal boundary. Nevertheless, excessive sweating may cause the sufferer some serious social embarrassments. These people are suffering from what is commonly known in medical terms as, hyperhidrosis. These people have the characteristic sweat stains on their shirts that when noticed by people around him can be very depressing. Wear skin hugging clothes can only make your sweat stains all the more obvious. So opt for baggy, loose fitting clothes instead that allows for proper ventilation. Silk and cotton are two excellent clothing material that allow in a lot of air circulation.
Caffeinated beverages and alcohol are a major contributor to excessive sweating problems. It is therefore better to stay off them. Sufficient water intake is also helpful in curbing the disorder as it cuts down the toxin levels of your body.
All of us have experienced cold sweat during moments of severe anxiety and nervousness. I therefore personally recommend that you keep a cool head at all points of time.
The last recourse to sweating problems is by taking appropriate medicines. Antiperspirants is the most common option, although I did not highly benefit of it.
You can also have your sweat glands surgically removed or partially scraped off to tackle the situation; deactivating the heat regulating nerves can also correct the flaws. But since surgery is a costly affair, let it be your last recourse.
Detached instances of excessive sweating can bespeak a mild heart attack or a stroke; so watch out for the signs. It’s best to see a physician who can correctly diagnose these unusual symptoms and prescribe the means of correcting it.
