Why are some people alcoholics and others heavy drinkers?
What makes someone an alcoholic whereas others just drink occassionally or not at all? Is it a character flaw, a living disease like flu or a mental illness?
Heavy drinkers can stop drinking any time they want or go long periods without drinking. Alcoholics are addicted and cannot stop drinking.
